Thank you Caffeine Informer for giving us the #2 spot for the The 12+ Deadliest (Strongest) Coffee Brands Worldwide!

This makes us the strongest coffee in the UK!

They have done a great review as well.

"Very Strong Coffee is a Robusta based coffee with extremely high caffeine levels.

It is produced and sold by the Great British Trading Company.

A cup of Very Strong Coffee is made by using 5 tablespoons of ground coffee per 12 fluid ounce (340 ml) cup. However, consumers can make it to their preference.

Great British Trading sent us some samples of their coffee for review.

VERY STRONG COFFEE REVIEW

As someone who sticks to a moderate caffeine amount with just two cups of Arabica based coffee per day, I approached this review with a little hesitation.

Very Strong Coffee, made according to the directions would be 3 times the caffeine I'm used to but in just one cup.

I decided to just try a 6 fluid ounce serving (170 ml) which would still be more caffeine than I'm used to.

Taste

Very Strong Coffee is roasted on the darker side and because it is made from Robusta beans, it does have a different flavor than the Arabica-based coffees most of us are used to.

In saying that, I found Very Strong Coffee to be drinkable and even enjoyable, although, I do still prefer the milder flavor of Arabica based coffee. Highly caffeinated coffees can taste bitter, but this brand was pretty smooth despite the high caffeine.

Effect

I did experience a pretty big caffeine lift with just 6 fluid ounces of Very Strong Coffee and it lasted throughout the morning. I did experience a little crash in the afternoon, which isn't typical with my normal caffeine consumption.

Overall, Very Strong Coffee is a well made strong coffee but should only be consumed by folks who are well tolerant to caffeine or who have a low sensitivity to the caffeine molecule."
